Me and my husband were looking for an agent to help us find a rental property in Chicago this May. I saw many positive reviews about Anthony Garcia on Yelp. At the same time, I also contacted with other two agents and had phone interviews with all the 3 agents. The reason we decided to work with Anthony because he is active, responsive, and has extensive knowledge and experiences in Chicago’s rental market. The most important thing is that he did pay attention to our objective and gave us a lot of his insight and recommendations.
Before we came to Chicago for house hunting, we communicated with Anthony frequently and he was always responsive and organized. For example, we have our own spreadsheet to calculate our estimate investment return and Anthony looked over each criteria for each unit we want to visit and put his feedback into it which make us really surprised and satisfied. When he helped arrange the showing, he screened all the properties in advance to make sure that each unit meet our requirements so that we won’t waste time visiting any unit that does not work as a rental unit. He also gave us his opinions for cons and pros of each potential unit before we visit.
We spent 2 days for house hunting in mid June,2016. Anthony took notes during every visit when our questions were not answer immediately by the seller’s agent. He helped find out all the answers soon after our house hunting trip. I also want to mention that during our decision making process, he is not pushy and even told us that studio is easier to rent out than 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. Even though the price of studio is lower than 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom which will make his commission lower, he still gives us the advice. This shows that he is sincere and honest.
Our deal was closed on 8/31/2016 and we found a great rental property thanks to Anthony’s great help. I highly recommend Anthony to anyone who needs help in Chicago real estate. We worked with 3 agents in 3 different states in U.S and Anthony is the best. We will definitely work with him in the future.

If you are looking for a place to rent in the city, I highly recommend you give Anthony Garcia a call at Streeterville Realty. I worked with him over a 3 or 4 week period to find a new condo to rent and the experience was great. Anthony was very friendly and professional throughout the process. My agent was Anthony Garcia. He dealt with me on very short notice and met with me right after new year's to take me to see a number of condos he had helped me pick out. When I presented options from Zillow he happily added them to the list of places to show me despite the fact that these apartment buildings wouldn't pay him should I decide to sign a lease with them instead of with a place he showed me. He was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful with the small window of time I had for my relocation from Detroit. When it came down to signing and turning in the lease, the landlord's agent was slacking and Anthony took it upon himself to do the other agent's job to ensure that the paperwork was received by the office of the building I was moving into. Anthony helped us to find a wonderful apartment. Everything is great! It is a really big help since my wife and I are international students and we were not in Chicago when looking for an apartment. Due to the long distance and time difference, we have to communicate with emails which is an issue to discuss renting. The staff at Streeteville Realty were very professional but also very friendly. Their office was in the same building as my apartment and if I ever had a question about the apartment or my landlord they were very happy to answer and help. They even forwarded me mail that was sent to my apartment after I moved it (I moved out because I was changing cities, not because I had any issues with my apartment.)
